These mesmerising paintings by artist Mehdi Ghadyanloo (@mehdighadyanloo) will be auctioned in London on Wednesday at the @sothebys Made in Britain Sale. All proceeds from the sale will go to @thelotusf, a female-led Kurdistani NGO empowering women and girl refugees displaced by ISIS in the Middle East.
The paintings were also the inspiration and preparatory drawings for his recent large scale commission at The World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos this year, seen in the second picture.
Titled 'Finding Hope', the mural is a 600sq/ft painting highlighting the importance of women's equality, and sends an inspiring message of hope to all.
