  • I cannot believe Thanksgiving is already NEXT WEEK! 🦃 I’m definitely enjoying the Holiday season this year, it just feels like it’s moving too quickly! 😭 On a different note, I have spent a large part of this year trying to get rid of things I don’t use or need and shift to a more minimal way of living. The items here are some of my current ESSENTIALS for photo and video. Now that you can use presets on Lightroom mobile I find myself grabbing my iPad Pro a LOT more for photo editing needs. Can’t wait for the new version of photoshop to release for it early next year too! Have a great Wednesday everyone! ❤️

  • I’ve been away from insta since mid September. This has mostly been due to a lack of creativity, lack of focus, and quite honestly a lack of drive. It can be so easy to get caught up in the numbers and start comparing success with others on this platform. It’s so easy to see places others have gone, flashy things other people own, and for many people it will cause a feeling of inadequacy. I’m happy to say I’m back, I have a new focus that is 100% authentic to what I want to create. Sometimes a long break brings a fresh perspective and I’m so happy to be back creating new content and growing my brand to what I want it to be. Thank you so much to those of you who reached out to me while I was gone to check on me, you’re amazing people.
Also I love the ocean and want to live near it someday 🌊 ❤️ #strapsbyelroobs #discoverearth #optoutside #oceanvibes #64explore

  • Macro shots are all about getting in close to capture those fine details. Take a moment to notice the small things, nature provides tons of them. #whpperspective
On a side note, I am feeling incredibly inspired to get out and create some cool new content this week. I’m considering starting to focus on photographing more every day life events and putting more lifestyle focus into my feed. Have an amazing weekend friends. 😊❤️ #strapsbyelroobs #wildernessculture #mountlemmon #depthobsessed #discoverearth #voyaged #optoutside

  • I took a bit of a short break this week from shooting/social media to sort of let my mind reset. In my opinion it’s really good to step away from the phones every now and then to regain some mental clarity. Every time I do this, I feel so motivated when I come back to create awesome new content and push myself to improve. What are some ways you deal with feeling stagnant and unmotivated? I’d love to hear some dialogue on this in the comments below. I hope everybody has a great Monday, let’s get out there and create something meaningful this week. ❤️ #whpdailylife #optoutside #wildernessculture #wildernesstones #strapsbyelroobs

  • Being surrounded by an overwhelming abundance of greenery is something I enjoy endlessly. Lately I’ve been editing with a darker and more moody tone, which is something not always easy to do living in a desert. This is my submission to the #whpcolorpalette hashtag this week. On a different note, I’m so excited for fall to be here soon. This summer has been extremely fun for me, but I’m really hyped on changing things up for autumn. I’m planning a day trip to Sedona in the next couple of weeks, and several other big trips not too far in the distant future as well. This month I will release my first YouTube content too! I’m ready for amazing September! 👌🏼🌲

  • Something that I always recommend to someone brand new to photography, is to change your perspective several times before you just settle for a shot. This tree for example doesn’t look like much from head/eye level, but once you get down low to the ground and focus in on the fine details you see a wide variety of unique colors and textures that you may have missed regularly!
I am very passionate about teaching people things they might not have known when it comes to photography, which is why I’m recording tutorials to upload to youtube very soon. I hope everyone is having a great Monday, let’s get out there and create! 🌲❤️

  • The past month has been so fun for my photography journey. I’ve been seeing new places, doing new things, and all the while learning. I keep setting obtainable goals for myself and have done well at keeping them for the most part. September and October are already looking very promising as well, and I think I want to hard commit to making Youtube content for the first time since I was in high school next month. This past week I bought my first “professional” lens, which you will see more of very soon. In addition to that, I have decided to switch from my Canon to the Sony mirrorless system with a Sony A7iii, a change I hope to complete by the end of October. We’re just getting started baby, 2018 is about the climb. 🌲🌄
