  • We have to start somewhere and I have a feeling I’m going to be stronger than ever once my body is really firing. Took 395 for a little ride today just to see and zero pain. It will take time to rebuild my strength from not squatting and deadlifting and documenting the journey is a way to see me progress publicly. @feedmemorenutrition @conversationwiththebigguy #FeedMeMore

  • It’s been 2 years since I was told I had to stop deadlifting and squatting to allow my back to rest as my 5 discs regrew. I tried it at various points in the process just to test myself, and I was met with pain and discouragement every time. Several weeks ago, I came across @smashwerx IG page and had seen his stuff on YouTube, and I owe a tremendous thank you to this man. The remaining deep pain I was having up until recently wasn’t due to my discs anymore, but my quadratus lumborum QL muscle and one of Trevor’s recommendations on his page has completely transformed my life in that I am no longer in pain at all and have been able to return to squatting and deadlifting and have 0 pain in my back for the first time in over 5 years. He has helped with my shoulder issues as well and hoping to work with him more after my final stem cell procedures. It’s no coincidence to me that when I shifted my energy due to @drsuemorter's book The Energy Codes, I opened myself up to the answers that eluded me for so long. This is my 3rd week back doing these lifts, though, and staying very light for many sets to build slowly. The lesson is, as much as I wanted to just give in at times and as tough as this whole process has been mentally, if we just find a way to keep going and to keep evolving, no matter how bad the situation looks, we give ourselves a fighting chance. Thanks @smashwerx @drsuemorter. I'm forever grateful for you two and the awesomeness that you bring to this world. 🙏
