This week we celebrated a friend's birthday at M Palace Seafood and Dim Sum. They had a lot of intricate dim sum dishes including the Mushroom Bao 🍄🍞 and the Charcoal Lava Bao. I would recommend getting the mushroom baos, but suggest the pineapple lava baos over the charcoal lava baos (the charcoal baos didn't taste anything special, and is solely "for the 'gram"). Also, we went for the durian cheesecake but fellow durian lovers say it was meh and not worth it. #yyc

I’ve been trapped at my desk for over a week building our new labels, translating things into French (I’ll just apologize for that now 🤷🏻♀️ because I’m way better at Spanish) and working on nutritional breakdowns of everything we make.

We ordered way too much again lol but we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we got. The wife was really sad when grilled octopus was no longer offered at Mercato but we found it @oceanacalgary and they did a fantastic grilling job it taste amazing👌🏼 we got a hot appetizer platter which I’ll post separately (it’s so big and good it deserves a post of itself) Had the New England clam chowder and it was not too salty which I find usually the case at most place and it was packed with ingredients. The lobster and prawn linguini was spot on and it was just packed with prawn, I think there was over a dozen in it and a tons of lobster meat 😋 thank you @topdishyyc and @oceanacalgary for having us!
