This quote got me thinking about my workouts and how far I’ve come in my fitness goals. I used to be so impatient and wouldn’t commit to sticking to a schedule, but once I did, major gains starting coming through. Anywhoo, if I can do it, so can you. Consistency is key.

Do you give yourself space or is everything way too full in your day? This idea has been ever present for me lately. I’ve been trying to give myself space by getting up just a bit earlier every morning before Brady to do my 10-minute meditation (I use the @calm app), reading for pleasure before bed, shutting off from all tech at night and going out for a solo errand or other without Brady once a week or so too. It may not seem like much, but it’s a lot for me, and because of it, in spite of being really busy, I feel like I have been quite centered, which is a really good feeling for a working momma. Why do we make time for Netflix and Hulu, scrolling our IG’s for at least 30 minutes, or online shopping when we don’t actually need anything but then say we “don’t have time” to workout?
Why do we spend $5 on a latte a few times a week, drop $70 at Target like it ain’t no thang more often than we should, or go to the Chik-fil-A drive-thru on our lunch breaks but we “can’t afford” to commit to a fitness program with nutrition support & guidance (that actually ends up SAVING you money)?

Girl, I get it. It’s way easier to pop yourself on the couch and binge watch your fave tv shows than it is to go right into a workout after a long work day. And spending money on the “things” we want and that can be delivered to our door within two days (thanks Amazon Prime! 🤪) — is more instantly satisfying than putting in the time & work it takes to achieve something you TRULY want and will be happier with in the long run 🤸🏼♀️✨
We have nothing else without our health. So why do we treat it like it’s optional?
Hell, even I have my days where I would much rather lay on the couch and do nothing or eat junk for dinner — but here’s what I’ve learned:
» you really can’t argue with a 20 minute workout you can do in your living room
» you are stronger than your excuses...if you decide to be
» you don’t have to do this alone!
So when you’re done creeping my posts and stalking my stories, I’ll be here for ya because I don’t know where I’d be if that random girl on IG who I stalked for a while wasn’t there for me 🤘🏼🧡

Nothing like a kickboxing class to start off your week. We love yoga but when we need a little booster to bring that inner warrior, kickboxing class always help. :)
Our yoga pants survived the kickboxing class too. 😉
