I always love hearing stories from my parents about the things they would watch me create when I was little. They would notice how much attention to detail I would give even the tiniest of people and things I was drawing. Still today, the little details to me are the most important. I think that’s why I enjoy painting the way I do. Each dot and mark has so much intention and meaning.
Crop of my piece “Exhale” from two years ago plus some progress shots. This was also part of a group show with a bunch other amazing artists. A lot felt right with this. #tbt
Between writing and recording I decided to get out the oil paints. I call this "The Northern Beauty". Haven't been up there in a while. I think secretly I want to be Tom Thomson. - Linden Ivey - www.lindenivey.com
