Monday 21st January A.K.A 'Blue Monday' - is a term used to mark the (apparently) most depressing day of the year, but it's a wholly media created term, founded in 2005 as a marketing campaign by a Travel Company, and if you read only a snippet of the stuff that will be churned out by the media today, you'd be totally brainwashed into feeling like you'd want to hide under your duvet, feel utterly miserable, drown in your own self pity and avoid having to face the world today.
_
Blue Monday was the result of a non-scientific formula produced by psychologist Dr Chris Arnall for the Travel Company, based on a whole host of variables - such as the amount of time since Christmas, the cold weather, debt, failing miserably at those unrealistic New Year’s Resolutions – all contributing to making Blue Monday what it has been hyped up to be, THE most depressing day in 2019.
 _
But, here's the thing, today doesn't have to be blue, it's all about your mindset. Yes, Christmas has been and gone, it's cold, it's been a tight month financially, you've not managed to stick to your New Year resolution, you are feeling the over indulgence over Christmas - it happens EVERY year.
_
So why not stick two fingers up to the media and start today with the mindset of 'OK Monday, let's do this!' So what if you've failed at your resolution(s), maybe it's time to revisit what you are trying to achieve and set yourself some smaller, more manageable goals you are more likely to achieve.
_
Yes, it's cold out there, making it the perfect time to get wrapped up and get outdoors for some exercise @redjanuaryuk OR focus on mastering the Danish art of Hygge and transform your home into a Hygge shrine. If you are feeling the financial pinch of your post Christmas indulgence, use the time to have some cosy nights in and to plan your best year ever. #repost @bringing_sparkle_back with @get_repost ・・・ Monday 21st January A.K.A 'Blue Monday' - is a term used to mark the (apparently) most depressing day of the year, but it's a wholly media created term, founded in 2005 as a marketing campaign by a Travel Company, and if you read only a snippet of the stuff that will be churned out by the media today, you'd be totally brainwashed into feeling like you'd want to hide under your duvet, feel utterly miserable, drown in your own self pity and avoid having to face the world today. _ Blue Monday was the result of a non-scientific formula produced by psychologist Dr Chris Arnall for the Travel Company, based on a whole host of variables - such as the amount of time since Christmas, the cold weather, debt, failing miserably at those unrealistic New Year’s Resolutions – all contributing to making Blue Monday what it has been hyped up to be, THE most depressing day in 2019. _ But, here's the thing, today doesn't have to be blue, it's all about your mindset. • When you knock on the door of opportunity, do not be surprised that it is work who answers. @brendonburchard #nailedit

It drives me a little cray cray when someone is taking a look at building a successful business with me as their mentor, and they ask me, well how long will it take before I start to see success?? My answer...however long it takes. How much time are you willing to invest in learning, growing, and taking action?

Some people will spend their entire lives in a job they dislike, that pays them a mediocre salary...and they won’t ask the question...if I keep doing this for the next 10 years, where will I be? And will I be happy? Most will carry on for the next 20...and keep getting what they are getting.

So why does 5-10 years seem like a long time to invest in yourself to become a 6 and 7 figure earner, or to create millions? Or to make the same amount you’re making now but with time freedom!

Regardless of your choice, nothing is guaranteed. But if you commit to being the best you and serving at the highest level possible day after day...and you put the time in to learn grow and achieve, it can happen for you.

But why put a time limit on your success and your dreams?? Stop looking left and right and trying to figure out what it will take or how long it will take. I know my journey of transformation in all areas of my life has been a step by step process and certainly not overnight success.

Just be committed to doing whatever it takes and however long it takes. Or just keep doing what you’re doing. If nothing changes...well nothing changes. But know, that kind of sense of security can fool you. #highperformancehabits When you knock on the door of opportunity, do not be surprised that it is work who answers. @brendonburchard #nailedit It drives me a little cray cray when someone is taking a look at building a successful business with me as their mentor, and they ask me, well how long will it take before I start to see success??
