  • #periodflu , not sure any picture would fit this caption so bare with me. I get Period Flu, yup, that's right... Vomiting, nausea, aches and pains and the often a very "funny tummy" before, during my period. I have always thought it was just a tummy bug but after keeping a diary I'm starting to see a regular pattern that can only be period flu, unless my mystery illness is also on a 4 week schedule. My question is does anyone get anything similar... Or am I just weird.

  • In honor of #NationalCertifiedNursesDay, we salute the thousands of Mount nursing graduates making a difference in the lives of thousands of people. Today, we are also proud to recognize Sr. Callista Roy, CSJ, ‘63 who developed a transformational nursing model that ensures patients are treated as complex human beings with ever-changing biological, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Ever since, the Roy Adaptation Model has provided a high-level framework for nursing practice, education and research across the globe.

  • We @moustaqbel are immensely proud of our student Zahra ait Lahcen who published her first journalistic endeavor: an article in the electronic newspaper Amadala Amazigh. Her powerful article carries the title “Why should we celebrate Women’s Day if we don’t even recognize the sacrifices of rural women”. Ait Lahcen correctly points out that women from rural areas, who are marginalized both economically, socially and culturally, rarely get any attention throughout the year and even on this symbolic day we often forget to engage those women who are out of sight in the metropolitan areas where decisions and history are made.
