  • #transformationtuesday of me and my fur baby. Left picture is the 2nd day we had Rocket (December 2nd) and the right is yesterday. Having this pup in my life has improved my life. I go for more walks, exercise more, spend more time outside, smile more, and have an amazing animal to love and care about. .

  • Today I made the decision to stop weighing myself every day, after talking about it with @alexisclairefit!

That’s actually really scary for me, because I’ve been weighing myself daily for... must be at least six months now.
The idea behind it is that then you can get more accurate readings, as weighing daily then taking your weekly average will cancel out a lot of the “noise” weight loss can bring.
I know weight fluctuates daily based on a ton of different factors! But it still really upsets me and stresses me out when I see the scale creep up.
It definitely makes me feel like my hard work is for nothing! But then at the same time, when the scale goes down, I feel amazing!
Either way, I shouldn’t let a number dictate my mood, I do know that.
It’s a little annoying to start today because my weigh ins this week have been a touch high, so by stopping weighing now, my average for this week will end up looking higher 😂 but I need to stop worrying about that!

I’m actually going to take the scale completely out of the bathroom to remove all temptation. If I see it in the morning I know I’ll think “well what could one extra weigh in hurt!” and the cycle will continue.
I would love for people to tell me their thoughts on this! Do you weigh yourself at all? If you do, how often? Does it affect your mood like it does for me?
