It’s the weekend! Well basically... usually my weekends are filled with sitting at home trying to find stuff to do around the house because it’s been cold so I don’t want to go outside 😅 can’t wait for it to be warm again so you can just be outside and enjoy it! Happy weekend 🙌🏼😍
69/100: “scratch the itch” is a life motto i continuously come back to and try to live into. it pertains to any situation where i’m struggling to make a decision that doesn’t have “major” life/death consequences. it replaces the notion of having to make the perfect, right decision with simply taking any action and trusting i’ll viscerally learn from that action and naturally course correct from there. eliminating the notion there is a “perfect, right decision”
examples: should i eat 1 cookie or 6 cookies? if i choose the 6, i trust that perhaps i’ll viscerally feel the negative effects of eating that many and think twice the next time i’m faced with that decision. when i get asked relationship advice on whether to text him/her and the friend has a strong urge to do it, i normally fall in the camp of just doing it. because you’ll learn something either way. you may go through a bit of an emotional rollercoaster in the process. but i would bet you’ll likely attain ultimate peace of mind of the situation faster. trying to take perfect action is the enemy of progress. so just scratch the itch. and learn from that action. #the100dayproject#100heartsmiles

can you imagine if Picasso never picked up a paint brush because he saw Gustav Klimt’s piece “The kiss” and went, “forget it”? people would be shattered.
