Weary smile. No make up. Messy hair. Not looking my thinnest.
I almost didn't post this picture because of the things above, but really, this was a lovely moment with my daddy talking about gardening, flowers and how beautiful our garden is. I've only really got into gardening in the past year, and last summer I dug my own flowerbed (I actually only got halfway) and planted some flowers and herbs which are now starting to bloom. As it's been so beautifully sunny this month I've been working hard on my little flowerbed, dug up the whole stretch, weeded, composted, planted, pruned and admired my work. Its something I've grown to love as I get lost in the moment, not caring about perfection. That is what this picture is... imperfectly perfect ❤
I’m sad that the Easter holidays are over. 😩
Everyone is back to work and catching up on all the boring things they neglected over Easter. My best friend was visiting for the early part of the week and we stayed up till 1am every night talking about everything under the sun and still managed full on days with the children too.
This weekend the boys have seen lots of their family and enjoyed so many out door adventures.
Andy and I have managed breakfasts in the garden once again and once the boys are asleep we have been enjoying some evening drinks 🍸 outside. It’s a very welcome change to the long cold miserable winter.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing, my kid is jumping on the trampoline!😭😭 Tears of joy people!! We are so close to summer over here and I can’t contain my excitement. Are you getting some needed sunshine where you are today? I hope you are! ☀️🌷
I hope everyone had a perfect Easter yesterday. We enjoyed a birthday party for Augusta and some well-spent quality family time. Not to mention the amazing weather we finally got to enjoy. It was such a great weekend for us!
