We’ll I guess the 🐈 is out of the bag. I broke up with Carbohydrates again 😔 On to the keto train 🚂
I’m not necessarily concerned with facilitating weight loss through Keto currently but am however deploying it as a measure to combat against my current sleep pattern and constraints of my daily schedule. As some of you know I’m in the midst of building my own brand / business, Payscale Fitness. I’m going after it with everything I have. That being said, Keto absolutely gives me an edge in this regard. Please see my entry below for my most recent thoughts while reflecting on the conclusion of this day.
So today, I was up since 0330. My only nutrition had been roughly 3-400 calories in the form of MCT oil and Natural peanut butter both as additives to my coffee I had at about 8:30. Prior to that I’d only had 32oz of some high quality H2O ( in my Bobby Boucher voice) I’m pretty sure I’m lazy keto, I think. I don’t track macros closely but I do calories. I don’t think I’m necessarily dirty 🤔 btw I didn’t even know of these categories of keto until recently. I had 2 of the Bang energy drinks during the day. Had a solid workout at 1300. At 4:30 in the afternoon tested at 2.4 on the keto mojo strip. It continues to amaze me the energy, focus, and lack of hunger that are created in Optimal ketosis. (1.5 - 3.0) I had been in light ketosis for about all of last week. There really is a discernible difference when you get 2-3 days into the higher ketone levels. In my opinion of course 😉 it appears I’m now able to be fine off of one meal a day now, 2 counting the coffee, 🤔 which really is nutrient dense so yeah it counts😉I know they’re pricey but I’d really suggest getting a blood reader, after you know you’ve been adhering for a week, to be able to track levels and begin to correlate the movement of the measured ketone levels with different nutritional and physiological manipulations within your daily behavior.
Yesterday I led a group on a visioning exercise. As we were going through the exercise various participants were getting ahead of the process with worries & concerns. I kept reminding them one step at a time, let’s focus on getting clear on what we want. .
This reminded me of a recent talk I heard from #helenaescalante where she shared that often times when we are starting out in a new endeavor we want to rush to the ribbon cutting part. She talked about how rarely does anyone like the foundation phase or the construction phase, it’s not very attractive. I couldn’t agree more. .
We can’t go from idea to success without going through the stages of development & implementation. We need to create space for learning & growing. That is part of the process. .
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up comparing ourselves to others that “have arrived” but what’s not visible are the challenges that they went through in order to be where they are. .
I have previously shared it took me 2 years to figure out my migraine triggers. 2 YEARS! I could’ve given up but I didn’t because I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my health. But there was a long process of learning, testing & adapting before I figured out how to prevent my migraines. It did not happen overnight. .
I know someone out there needed this today. So wherever you are, whatever your goals (health, business, career, relationships, finance, etc.) give yourself the space for process. One of the strategies Helena spoke about is developing learning goals. I love that. That’s an active way of creating space for process. Allow yourself the opportunity to learn, grow & adapt. .

This year I am ditching fears, making them irrelevant and attacking my 2019 vision.
Having already set myself goals and targets to achieve, I can firmly say I have an unshakeable belief that they will all be achieved this year.
Just wanted to make something that felt good. Something that I poured my emotions into. Still lots to improve on such as the solidity I put into my moves as well as just dancing bigger in general. Arm placement is also a big one. Pushing to make it better next time. ✌🏻

Fact: Everything is Energy. You’re heard that a million times right?
Let me explain what’s amazing about this…
Einstein said that mass and energy are both but different manifestations of the same thing.
Which means there is no such thing as matter.
Physical atoms, the building blocks of matter, are like vortices of energy spinning and vibrating.
And, get this - atoms are 99% EMPTY SPACE!
Here’s where it gets a tad freaky…
there are both visible particles and invisible waves and they fluctuate between these 2 states.
So in effect, what we believe to be our stable solid reality is merely a SEA OF SUBATOMIC PARTICELS fleeting in & out of existence!
Matter is an illusion.
Reality is more like a dance of energy.
2. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
Atoms. Let’s talk about them.
They are 99% empty space. We’ve already established that. But what does that mean?
It means that within each atom lies a world of potentiality and possibility rather than ‘things’ and ‘facts’. Meaning, they exist in a suspended state, and their identity is still fluid and undetermined.
This means that each subatomic particle is a potential of any one of its ‘future-selves’ or a sum of ALL probabilities.
Matter, at it most basic, microscopic level isn’t anything yet!!!! Subatomic reality is a sea of infinite options! 🌊🌎💫 AND, if everything in this universe is made up of pure potentiality, then SO ARE YOU! 🙌🏻😝 ...cont. on my personal fb page ❤️
