  • Happy #earthday 🌎🌍🌏 For me, earth day is more than about just celebrating this unique planet we live on. It is a day to reflect on the choices we are making and to maybe try to improve our actions so that we can be in as much harmony with #motherearth as possible. It is resisting the urge to get that new gadget, update your phone to the newest model, have the latest fashion. For me Earth Day is the opportunity to take a moment and appreciate the wonderful ressources that Earth has given us and conscientiously try to preserve them as much as possible! Whether this means going #zerowaste or #lowwaste, trying to eat more #vegetarian options or deciding to #travel less! Sometimes these are not easy choices and I’m not saying that I’m perfect in making the right choice either- but today gives me the opportunity to go outside and get inspiration to keep going! This lifestyle that we have is not sustainable, and we must adjust to preserve our ecosystems, do it from a place of love and remember that every small action counts! This is about millions of people doing small things everyday, not just on Earth Day! 💛💚💛 #gaspesiejetaime #phares #lighthouse Happy #earthday 🌎🌍🌏 For me, earth day is more than about just celebrating this unique planet we live on. • This is a map of #ecologicalfootprint by country, from @wwf Living Report 2018. Ecological footprint is when you measure how much productive land is needed for one person’s life (eg. the area needed to produce the things they consume or the area needed to take care of the waste they produce). The area is measured in global hectares (gha).
🌱
The darker the colour on this map, the bigger the ecological footprint. More exactly, the colours translate into this:
Grey: not enough data available
Light yellow: <1,75 gha
Dark yellow: 1,75-3,5 gha
Orange: 3,5-5,25 gha
Red: 5,25-7 gha
Purple: >7 gha
🌱
The #sustainable level is 1,7 gha. Some countries are within these boundaries. But other countries are waaay over them.
In #Sweden, where I live, we live as if we had 4 planets. News flash: we only have one. If we continue like this, we will literally destroy the world we are dependent on - we will destroy ourselves. 🌱
Ecological footprints are one way to estimate a country’s environmental impact. If you talk about emissions only, you usually talk about either consumption-based or territorial emissions. Depending on how you calculate, the results may vary, but one thing is clear: industrialised countries are the ones to blame. That may seem obvious minding how climate change started during the industrialisation, but there are people who still believe the opposite. I think it’s important to stress that though we are all to be affected by this, we don’t share the same responsibilities.
🌱
Sweden and other countries are literally destroying the lives of people in other countries, as well as dooming our own future. The silence of politicians is a betrayal.
We all need to change in order to fight #climatechange and other environmental issues. But some of us need to change more than others.
🌱
Where on this map are your country? And what are your politicians doing about it?

WRAPS DE ESPINACAS
Ingredientes:
•	4 claras de huevo.
•	1 huevo entero.
