  • Some not very exciting benching today with 54.5kg for a paused 4x4 @bartellbarbell my set-up is still no bueno #necesitoayuda
◾️
If it weren’t for @strengthbysullivan’s crazy-ass music, I probably would’ve fallen asleep too 🐣
◾️
That confused look on my face was because I thought I only did 3 reps 🤦🏻‍♀️ one day I shall learn to count with confidence and accuracy ☝️🙏 just not today and probably not tomorrow either. • Next up we have @jluyt11. Going 9/9 with 100/57.5/125. The 100kg squat and the 125kg deadlift were both PBs and the 57.5kg bench was the best grind for the day! 😎 Next up we have @jluyt11. • Last day of #SelfCareWeek! To finish up, I thought I'd summarise the week with some practical self-care tips (it feels like a bit of a cop-out, but I'm currently writing these from a study trip in Marrakech and I'm e x h a u s t e d. And... self-care first). So - some shit you can implement today to look after yourself better:

1. Figure out a routine that enables you to get enough sleep each night and stick to it. I'd recommend staying away from blue light for the last hour and doing something else to wind down (but I'm also a hypocrite 🤷🤦) 2. Wear clothes that you feel great in. Why do you have outfits that you feel self conscious in? If you don't feel beautiful in it, you don't need it.

3. Listen to your body. Eat good, nourishing food when you're hungry; stop when you're full; stop banning yourself from things you love. Move your body each day, and rest as required.

4. Make some time each week for something you really frickin' love doing, or a spontaneous day where you work everything out as you go along.

5. Don't feel obliged to spend time with people who don't make you feel good. You don't need people in your life who make you feel like a nuisance.

6. Learn to say no to shit you don't want to do.

7. Learn to say yes to things you want, but are too afraid to admit or don't think you deserve.

8. Slap on a face mask, paint your nails, read a book, have a bath - do whatever "classic self-care" looks like to you. Sometimes, it just really hits the spot. Last day of #selfcareweek!
