Day 18: Mistake or Lesson

Always a lesson.
I donโ€™t believe in mistakes! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Everything we do in life holds a lesson, if we choose to see it that way. The choices we make, the action we do, or do not take.
โœจ
It also takes time to achieve results to the best of our ability, we often forget that. The emphasis is on the end result - the end product or the being great at something, without acknowledging the process or the patience required for learning.
โ˜€๏ธ
We all learn differently, at our own pace, in our own way - and thats OK.
I am very much a visual learner. Written instruction only...(yawn) that doesnโ€™t work for me. Let me see it and Iโ€™ll get it ๐Ÿ˜

I have had a few unique creations in my time. Some surprise me, some I laugh at, some I remove from sight (never to be seen again) and others start as one thing - then turn into another! I have found the latter to be particularly true when working with wool. There are times when it takes on a life all of its own and ends up as something completely different to what was originally intended!
I often make things too big. I have also pulled small pieces off that didnโ€™t look quite right and were simply...errrr no! Generally though, Itโ€™s all good. Which is quite surprising as I donโ€™t know how any of them will turn out until I am actually making them - I design as I go along.
I have lost a needle in a piece before though ๐Ÿ™€.......or at least I thought I did. I was obviously jabbing like a loon and managed to break off a needle mid poke. Some explorative surgery was required. I cut where I had last poked the needle, but couldnโ€™t find it anywhere. Cut again, Still no luck. Cut from top to bottom - now thinking where the flippin ek is this thing? Still nothing. Nada...
Well turns out it wasnโ€™t inside at all, it had just fallen down beside me ๐Ÿ™„ Operation find it had to turn into operation fix it after that! Havenโ€™t done it since!
