Small Business Saturday Spotlight! .
Today we want to shine the light on the Beautiful Kathryn Jones. Her business journey started on Real Mums and we have been with her every step of the way rooting for her. From her first post with an idea, to the storage posts and her SBS posts.
It has been a true pleasure to watch her idea flourish and become a fully licensed and booming business. Both of us actually use her serums and rave them too! .
Well done @kjserums, we are incredibly proud of you and wish you all the success that you truly deserve! 💕🦄 .
A word from the lady herself: “Megan has asked me for a few lines on why RMD is so important to me. Where do I start? I have so much to thank the Real Mums for. My life has changed dramatically since joining the group and becoming a part of ‘the village’ a little under two years ago. In fact, the village is how my idea for a skincare range first got off the ground. I popped a note into the group one day asking the mums if they’d be interested in my fresh, natural serums and from that moment on I haven’t looked back. But I was very nervous making that post. I had no idea how my idea would be received. It was a different kind of concept as I was proposing fresh serums with really paired back ingredients to keep them as clean and potent as possible. This necessarily meant that they would have a short shelf life, but I wanted to offer something unique. Something that worked yet didn’t cost the earth. I was inundated with replies and offers of help. A villager helped me name the Triology serums and another villager (who has since become a good friend) has helped me name a few more. I’ve had advice on everything from bottle suppliers, to branding, to licensing. But most of all I’ve had the constant support and encouragement of an amazing group of women who stand behind each other and are there for each other every day. I’ve met so many wonderful ladies through this group and now consider them to be good friends too.”
