The start of the parade for Berlin carnival and had my eye on this apartment! 😍
Let’s talk about on my way to Berlin with my Cabin bag.
Last week I was at the airport, ready to board with my cabin case, bear in mind that the measurements of this airline meets the requirements to their bag policy which is (40cm x 20cm x 25cm). Now, soon as I give my boarding pass to one of the gate staff, immediately she said I need to pay as I do not have a priority pass, this priority pass allows you to get ahead of the long standard queue and also entitles you to 1 small bag and a cabin case. Which you have to pay £12 online and pay at least 2 hours before boarding.
The gate agent said the cost to have my cabin case on the plane will be an additional £20, remember this was said to me irrespective of the fact that my cabin case is 40cm x 20cm x 25cm. But for the gate staff the case was not considered small enough visually, so a payment needed to made.
When I went through finally I realised looking at other passengers they had a sports bag or a holdall of some sort with the same measurements or maybe even bigger than what was allowed.
So, a little advice..... Tip: Get a priority pass online
Travel Trick – take a sports bag/ holdall instead.
Let’s make our lives easier! 😉
Do you use a backpack/ holdall or cabin case when travelling and have you had any issues with any?
