Great first session w the Beast athletes.
We yoga’d (Child’s pose was the favorite pose of the day😉), we meditated (worked on elongating our exhales and catching our mind when it wanders) and in that bottom photo I’m demoing a nifty way to hold the strap (🤷♀️).
And I know they will allll continue to do yoga and meditation u til we meet again next month.

I never realized the amount of "damage" exercise can do to our bodies when we don't get proper nutrition on a daily basis 🥕🍇🍍
I won't get all "sciencey" but will say that each time we work out, especially intense daily workouts, we produce free radicals that overtime, *can cause severe damage⚠️ Oxidative stress is essentially an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the ability of the body to counteract or detoxify their harmful effects through neutralization by antioxidants.
Picture a freshly sliced apple🍎, leave it on the counter and its starts to turn brown- now picture your body as that apple 😯 That's what is happening inside your body when you exercise. Though its highly important to exercise, its even more important to fuel your body with a wide variety of 🍍🥕🍇
