All smiles for the ‘Puff Up Your Business’ seminar! Hosted by Chiu Teng Group, this event was held yesterday at the Pan Pacific Hotel. Specially curated guest speakers Mr. Aston Soon (ASTONS Group), Mr. Ho (KPMG) and Mr. Shahlan (Sahl International) were invited to share their extensive experiences and insights of the food and beverage industry in Singapore.
As part of creating the launch of a new food zoning industrial property, the group entrusted us to organize the event from ground zero.
In particular, the invitation card was commended by many and caught plenty of curious eyes. Now, who says an invitation card must always be a blandly folded sheet? The curry puff design proudly takes conventionality out of the equation and entices viewers to take yet another glance. It is also where we got the ‘Eureka!’ moment for the naming of the seminar. Oh, and if you look just closely enough, the envelope is a play on the curry puff paper bag you see out there in the snack shops! It is the attention-to-detail like this that go a long way and give us an extra edge.
For me, training isn’t just about aesthetics. It used to be....get the big biceps or whatever. But now for me it’s way more of a mental thing. There’s been periods where (for whatever reason) I’ve missed the gym for weeks and it’s actually had an effect on me mentally. Guess I need that structure. Gyms are the one place where I can leave everything outside....no phone calls, not thinking about work, not dealing with ignorant people saying things that make you want to slap them etc, when I’m exercising I’m really not a nice person, cos as glamorous as Instagram makes it look....working out hurts & I’m trying to not let the iron kill me 😂 hence I prefer to train alone & do my own thing. So if you see me training don’t talk to me cos I might eat you. A quick head nod will suffice, I’ll come talk to you after ✌🏾
