“Doing nothing often leads to the very best of something.” 🍯
On my flight over, I finally got to watch the Christopher Robin movie , which was so moving! Which was then followed by Sex and the City, of course.... This set the entire mood to the most serendipitous Big Pineapple Diaries adventure yet.... This quote really continues to resonate with me and wanted to share this with you🍍✨ .
Meet my Vancouver Fairy Godmother Evelyn! 🇨🇦✨👯♀️
Yes, I’ve officially been adopted my Canadian Chinese Family. LOL.
She and I didn’t know each other at all until that Thursday during my flight from HNL > YVR.
She is a flight attendant for @aircanada for 33 years and living in Vancouver for over 40 years! I simply asked her what the time change was in Vancouver. She then asked me if it was first time to the city. I said YES and told her that I just styled the cover of the next spring issue of @enroutemag and the ultimate plan for this trip was to do “nothing” but to follow my bliss!
That lead into THE greatest girls day adventure , by the most AMAZING, kindest, super fun, energetic, generous , bold, hello kitty loving, spontaneous, tour guide / spirit animal/ stylist/ life mentor ever!!!! She showed and guided me through the ENTIRE West Vancouver, Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bridge, up Cypress Mountain, the down to Vancouver Westside and Richmond
I really do believe that you meet people along the way for a reason and that magic moments happens when you least expect it! Thank you Evelyn, your zest for life is just BEYOND incredible and you are truly an earth angel and you’re love for Vancouver just radiates! ❄️👯♀️🍍🐰 ✨
PINCH ME... I’m still here and woke up to the most incredible morning views from the 17th floor penthouse @fourseasons ...... I don’t think it gets better than this. Thank you @jamesastyle@mwh265nyc@fsoahu for sharing this incredible experience with me!
