  • It’s time to pick up running outdoors again! Especially because it’s still light out when I get off from work (one perk of recent daylight savings? 🏃🏻‍♀️☀️)!!

Pictured here are some of my running gear. I actually loved my @Jabra headphones but accidentally left them at the last hotel I stayed 😭. Anyone have recs (🙏🏼) on sporty wireless headphones or injury prevention tips for runners (was getting recurrent knee pain and had to back out of my last half marathon 😔)? I would love to look into what you share! 🤗

Health bits related to exercise: it’s likely not the first time you’re hearing this, but getting 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of moderate intensity aerobic activity (think brisk walking pace) in a week, OR 75 min of vigorous exercise a week is what’s recommended for your health! Bouts of exercise of ANY duration that add up to this total lead to purported benefits. Throw in some weight/resistance training 2 days a week and SIT LESS, and this rounds out recommendations for what’s considered adequate physical activity!

So here I am trying out Taiwanese Zi Char @thesaltedplumsg
Forgive me as I didn't go Taiwan before to compare the standard here.😅
To be honest, I had some mix review about it but more to the positive side.😆
Everybody knows Lu Rou(Braised Pork Belly)($10) is the famous dish that must had whenever you visit a Taiwan eating place, following the trend, got ourselves soft and succulent meat in special haus sauce. Sauce is mouth-watering and not too salty. Though it had melt in the mouth fats but the meat wise, yes it's soft but the texture a bit old. Got me to chew quite long. Macam training jaw muscle.🙄

Oyster Omelette($15) here steal my heart away with its savoury egg with juicy oyster.😍
With one side having a crisp texture while the inner is retain moist with overflowing eggy taste accompany by mushy oyster.
Silken Tofu($10) topped with Sichuan Minced Meat & Leek had a good contrast in taste as under the perfectly crispy outer skin lies silky soft and smooth plain tofu. While mix with the salty spicy minced meat, it create a harmonic balance to the tofu.😄
Salted Egg Baby Prawn($10) is crunchy and spicy but I felt the salted egg taste was not strong enough. Nonetheless, it make a great snack.
Lastly, a decanter of the refreshing Salted Plum drink($10) is all we need to aid in digestion from all these food.
