_❤💪In my 40s a little tougher and now in my Mid 50s I'm still at it. It is a #lifestyle for me! Years of dance, drill, cheerleading, martial arts, a triathalon in my 40s and bodybuilding & figure competitions in my 40's and 50s. I've slayed a few dragons.And walked through the fire to get there. Encountered the bike wrecks,, bloody noses from sparring, pulled a few muscles along the way, broke a bone in the gym and my latest a hernia recovery!
_❤💪I am strong...just not strong physically or strong for 55! But strong! Strong enough to get back up after being kicked down. Body Mind or Spirit I may be forced to take a punch with what life sends me.... injury, heartache, loss, betrayal you name it! But I will as I have always done stay strong, become Stronger! Didn't retest my deadlifts tonight, but I did touch base with 2 attempts. First being my potential opener at 275, and next being 315.
Of course there is still plenty of time for that to increase but I'm happy with how fast 275 flew up. 💯
When people say they are at their rock bottom what do you think this means? I will explain if you have not been there you will never understand, it’s not a nice place to be, it’s a battle a daily battle, it’s figuring out who to listen to one part of you is saying come on you are a fighter! The other part let’s give up. The pit of darkness engulfs you from every angle, but listen to this it’s where you get clarity as you will be evaluating and preparing your escape from rock bottom. Once you get moving, you are slowly seeing the light, carry on and then you realise you are out and not at rock bottom anymore. The light you see now gives you inspiration to succeed further as you are proud of yourself leaving the darkness. Be strong everybody know that even if you are crawling to the top with your fingertips slowly but surely you will reach the top and see the light. All if this will be worth it and make you stronger.
