What has been your favorite travel story so far? Tell me all about it✈️✈️
One of my favorite travel stories would have to be when I and a bunch of people I met in my hostel in Athens decided to go to Vouliagméni lake & when we got there, it had an entrance fee and as we’re backpackers we were like helll naaahhhh😂 so instead we hiked up a mountain nearby where we listened to music, shared a bottle of wine and watched the sunset 🌅
My tour guide told me that life will treat you the same way you treat it, and I couldn’t agree more. My favorite part of these trips is talking about life with people from all over the world; we’re all not as different as one may think #solotravel#honestcaptions#sanpedrodeatacama
Varadharaja Perumal temple (1100+ years old) is one of huge Lord Vishnu temples in Tamil Nadu, covering an area of 23-acre (93,000 m2) of prime land located in Kanchipuram.
It clearly shows the architectural skills of ancient Vishwakarma Sthapathis in temple architecture and is famous for its holiness and ancient history.
This is the photo of the west facing main Garbagraha/sanctum which can be accessed via a 130 feet tall, 7-tiered Rajagopuram (main gateway tower).
When you make it through dark times, there’s a feeling that nothing else seems that scary any more, because you made it through the worst thing you could think of, and you’re alive and stronger. DO NOT TRUST THAT FEELING- yo girl has vertigo and this was still scary as hell. I think I blacked out twice. No joke. We got to land on the beach which is pretty amazing, but I couldn’t stand up for a good 6 minutes. Just lay there nervous-laughing like a delirious kipper. That said- i am so so proud of myself for doing it, and I rarely feel like that so that’s pretty awesome ☺️ huge thank you and love to my simply fearless friend @leeea_wi for giving me the push 💕
Geyser! The one I saw in the photos of the geography books that I had never imagined seeing so close in my life! Ah how beautiful this world is and full of crazy and wonderful things.
Geysers can only be seen in regions of recent volcanic activity, suuuuper hot water jets, this one produces the jet every 7, 8 minutes. It was an amazing experience here in Iceland 🌋❤
