Ayla is so blessed to have Ms. Cook for Kinder this year! She sat thru a double header soccer day in the fall and supported her today at softball!
Ayla Mae rose to the occasion, went 4/4 at bat and got an out at pitcher, tagging the lead runner out on her way home 😍
There’s always an opportunity for a teaching moment! This girl loves ballin out and is doing great, but I gotta keep her grounded and always find something we can get better at! Working on her lead prep and anticipating the ball off the bat!!! 👍👍⚾️😍 #softball#softballislife#followinginmomsfootsteps❤️
Since graduating from Utah State, this girl has seen it all. She’s lived in a different place every year, while working away at her masters degree (which she finished), and coaching softball in various capacities.
Colorado Christian University.
And Utah State (“hey Aggies all the way 🐮”)
But through all of this moving and traveling between cities, states, jobs, teams, schools, programs, etc.- she has stayed consistent and intentional with her friendships. She calls, texts, facetimes, and visits.
She is competitive, assertive, humorous, encouraging, steadfast, positive, passionate, relational, vulnerable, and real. She is your personal cheerleader, motivator, and challenger.
She always has a story about God’s goodness in her life, and she strives for excellence and growth.
Through so many challenges, uncertainties, inconsistencies, and stupid situations over the last 5 or so years she has remained undaunted. She took all of it with stride, and she rolls with the punches.
Jolene is a rare person. Be like Jolene.
She wears Nike, Nike, Aggie swag, and Nike. She loves running. She has the cutest dog named Champson (follow him @champdoodle). She learned how to wear dresses about 9 years ago, though is still working on it. She wears shorts in the winter. And she loves Disney movies.
