What's your favorite museum in the world?
Museums and attractions in SF are not cheap unfortunately... Most places don't have a student discount and as a Parisian gal used to having access to many places of culture for cheap or for free, that pill was hard to swallow! But lots of places are free on certain evenings (usually every Thursday or Friday night) or certain days (usually the first Tuesday of the month, like the Conservatory of Flowers), and then it becomes a game to spot what is free and when and maximize that! I still haven't visited every museum in SF, but it's the plan 😛 In December, I even took the first Tuesday off so I could wonder in all the free museums before they close (which is before I get off work) and I was so happy I did!
A great do-it-yourself all natural face mask for winter time is made with ingredients already in your kitchen! Go grab some plain full fat greek yogurt, dry oatmeal, and a little honey and let’s get started!
The lactic acid in yogurt exfoliates away dead skin cells to reveal a smoother, clearer complexion. The oatmeal both soothes and softens the skin while the honey acts as a detoxifying antioxidant, fighting free radical damage. The result is a bright, youthful glow.
Ingredients: * 1 tablespoon whole rolled oats
* 3 tablespoons plain greek yogurt
* 1/2 tbsp raw honey
Mix all of the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and even. Apply the mixture to your clean, dry face and relax while the mask sits for 20 minutes. Rinse it off while exfoliating the face further by moving your fingers in gentle circular motions to remove all leftover surface debris.
