In the first video we are checking away to lose our defender, then checking back to the ball and opening our hips as we receive the pass to change direction.

In the 2nd video, we are adding some extra conditioning by starting with a burpee, then receiving a pass and turning, or playing it back on command. This forces us to be cognitive of not only our movements but those of our teammates and defenders.

In the 3rd video we are adding some speed and agility work with a prowler push, hurdles, and ladder work followed by smooth and controlled ball work. 
Drills and movements like these are a fun and effective way to develop the strength, skill and speed necessary to become a better soccer player.
