MCK has a very specific pharmaceutical compound for pain, as its base. This takes an actual licensed pharmacist and is time consuming to produce.
2. The essential oils will vary in most all compounds and knowing which ones blend together is important. MCK is actually priced very middle of the price range for well made Whole Plant Extracted Hemp Products.

Having a rough week but I’ve got people around me to pull me through. I’m thankful for everyone who has visited, given me lifts to the doctors, listened to me cry, sent me thoughtful gifts and texts, made me food, given me encouragements and a whole lot of prayer! It takes a village to raise a pregnant lady. #recovery#grateful#ittakesavillage#thankyou
IT'S FINALLY OVER. 264 days after breaking my whole shin bone, I've now officially been discharged from the fracture clinic. It's been one of the most traumatic, painful and depressing experiences of my life, but I couldn't have got through it without the support of incredible family and friends. Particularly special shout-out to my incredible Mum, Dad and sister - the daily support they gave me was immense. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, breaking bones is pretty rubbish! Still got a little way to go while the bone continues to heal, but thankfully I'm almost back to where I was back in September (yep, it's been that long) #brokenleg#recovery
900 days of sobriety and recovery as of today ✨
In the last 900 days, I’ve been handled loss, acceptance, grief in so many ways, new jobs, old friends, new friends, an ENGAGEMENT(!!!), health issues, lifestyle changes - all trying at times but all worthy of being seen with clear eyes.
I did it all without my friend, Jameson. 🙅🏻♀️🥃
I did use prayer, communication, shoulders to cry on, Ben and Jerry’s to cry INTO, @pikefish’s ear when something just drove me up the wall. @holliealambert when I needed to just vent, @introvertly_sunshine when I needed to process, @kristintothemax when I needed to share a secret, @nikkilmac33 when my world was falling apart, Jesse when I needed some love, and @lambertmom when I needed help saying goodbye... ultimately I got addicted to CONNECTION. To talking to my friends, to my people, to the earth with live on.
Today I got to watch our boy graduate into kindergarten and god knows I wouldn’t have been there today had I not had my “wake the fuck up call” (phrase courtesy of my favorite electric pixie) - and I am just heavy hearted and light hearted at the same time today. Strange. Beautiful. Mine. This mess is mine. Thank you for being part of the roadside pickup on this journey. xoxo
When I shared Chris last month, he was my most liked/interacted with post! (which he loves haha)
Here are some fun facts about Chris:
1. He came up with this costume all by himself.
2. He likes to watch Bravo with me.
3. He is a way bigger softy with Bacon than me.
What should we be for Halloween this year??
There’s no place like home!
Our sweet Darla girl was on the boat when the accident occurred and all she knew was I was hurt and then didn’t come home. 😟
She was shaking for the first ten minutes after I walked through the door!
It’s so amazing how they know us, love us and miss us!
I’m grateful to be home and I’m very well taken care of! I’m going to breeze through this recovery!!! #homesweethome#dogsofinstagram#pekingese#darlagirl#kneesurgery#recovery
Stick the landing 🛬 The act of landing ‘funny’ is a story our team hears often when enquiring about how athletes hurt their foot, ankle and/or knee. Learning to land in different environments, changing speeds, in a range of directions and/or combining this with catching a ball is a key skill our team focuses on in rehab!! This video of Physio Darcy’s legs show off what ideal landing mechanics looks like! If your rehab doesn’t include landing practice then you’re unlikely preparing optimally to return to sport 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏼♂️ #committedtoexcellence#athletes#rehab
i’m over it.
i’ve never been this weight before in recovery.
and it feels weird.
this is new territory for me.
last week when i was talking to my therapist about going over this milestone,
she said to me:
“you’ve been below that weight before,
you’ve experienced what it’s like
and it’s not good.
you’ve relapsed being below this boundary,
exercise has been hell.
but you’ve never been above it before.
it could be a m a z i n g”
and that’s the mindset i’m going for ☺️💓
no increase this week but it’s going to be a FULL week of challenging the exercise to the full and i’m hella excited for it,
but also excited.
gaining 650g this week means that i’m back on track gaining what i’m meant to and what i need to week by week to be able to be 90% by the summer and be able to see my friends and go to Edinburgh!
i’m not going to slip below that boundary again.
this is it.
i’m recovering for real this time.
breakfast today was this lovely creamy bowl of muesli: my Basically Fruity muesli bowl changed up a bit- with half a banana and 3 strawberries to make it nice and summery! i soaked Jordan’s Natural Muesli overnight in unsweetened almond milk, then in the morning added the fresh fruit plus golden raisins, dates and dried apricots! it was delish 😋 really fuelled me up for the day!!
take what you want for this.
i love you all💓
Raise your hand if your guilty of avoiding this ESSENTIAL recovery action. 🤚🏼🤚🏼 yeah me too!
Real quick let’s discern the fact that there are several “types” of stretching and each one needs to be used in specific circumstances to be effective.
Today we’re gonna cover STATIC stretching.
What is it? Static stretching is when you get into a stretch and you hold that position for an extended period of time.
When do you do it? Primarily should be used post workout to help stretch the muscles you just worked! Can also be used on antagonist(counters the primary muscle) muscle during pre workout warmups.
How do you do it? For how long? Here’s where things get tricky. I’ve shared several of my staple stretches above.
Due to your bodies protective mechanisms(Golgi Tendon Organ) the first 20-30 seconds that you hold a stretch, your body is concerned that damage is coming to it. That is why if you continue to hold the stretch, you’ll notice you can get deeper into it after those ~20 seconds. Ideally hold each position for another 20 seconds after you feel the deepening of the stretch.
Why do it? RECOVERY. None of us focus enough on recovery. This is an easy way to limit soreness and prepare you for your next session!
That’s the scoop on STATIC stretching. Let me know if this is helpful or if you have any other questions.
If you’re interested in coaching please send me an email!! P.S. @jmihalyfit plz teach me how to pose 😂😂
