What’s your pre-gym snack? Even though I train at 6.30am I always get up and eat before I go - I can’t train on an empty stomach! So imagine my surprise when my go-to snack of Marmite and peanut butter on toast (made with @marmite@meridianfoods smooth PB and @hovisbakery wholemeal) started making headlines. The nation may be divided but I’m not - you won’t get a better toast topper 😋 Was anyone else an early adopter of this combo? Marmite + PB - yay or nay? Let me know in the comments! 🥜
Geeeewwd Morninggg Australia! Here’s another version of our 3-ingredient nice cream 🥣 🍌
What you’ll need:
🥄 2 frozen bananas
🥄 1/2 cup coconut cream
🥄 1 tsp blue spirulina
Start with bananas that are turning brown. Peel and cut into pieces, then freeze in an airtight bag or container. To make the ice cream, blend all ingredients until completely smooth. Serve immediately in a bowl, or transfer to a container and freeze until firm, then scoop out with an ice cream scoop. 💙 perfect breakfast, pre-gym snack, or dessert!

Fantastic pre run snack - pink cashew and maca bites.
Quick, healthy energy that is also easy to digest which is really important for when I'm out for run. No such thing as a superfood but maca does have some good benefits
1. High in certain minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium and zinc
2. A good source of iron
3. One tsp contains around 10% of our RDA for copper which helps trigger the release of iron to form haemoglobin which carries oxygen around the body.
This was this month's recipe in my @energyballrecipes box - essentially this is a lovely way to make your own energy balls - all prepackaged and weighed out so no waste and all the packaging is eco friendly and 100% biodegradable. And they're coated in #beetroot powder which is another runner's favourite
