  • Just took the fattest nap #feelingrefreshed 😴😂 Got a quick power hour in before with some of my babes on my team. Our power hours give me LIFE— obvi seeing their beautiful faces 🙏 but during this time we virtually come together + begin to #hustle + work on our business and/or our workouts. It’s the best tool to hold one accountable + to make sure you get your ishhhh DONE! I can’t believe that this is my freakin JOB—I get to serve people through connection, relationships, teamwork + and most importantly, I get to show the most powerful force to positively affect every aspect of someone’s life— and that’s self-love. 💕 It’s what empowers me to make healthy decisions that serve me + my wellbeing in the highest good. 🦋 How do YOU practice self-love each day?! Meet @thecsherm -- Catherine Sherman!! 1. How long have you been practicing at MI Hot Yoga?  I celebrated my one year yoga-versary this past December and it’s my happy place!

2. How has your mindset changed and/or what benefits have you received from yoga?

Once I started doing yoga, I started to feel how connected and interwoven everything is, both in and around me. As a gal who battles anxiety, it helps me to slow down, create an intentional calm, and a sense of peace that I can take off the mat and into my life.

3. Favorite Pose & why? 
Crescent Warrior, it makes me feel powerful no matter how far into my practice I get. It makes me feel like I’m blooming.

4. Least favorite pose & why? 
Lizard lunge, because my hip flexors have a lot of painful opinions about it. 
5. Any advice for a newbie yogi?

Be open to whatever your body is calling for, don’t let your pride dictate your practice. Challenge yourself, but don’t be afraid to modify! 
6. How do you practice yoga off the mat?

It has taught me that my mind truly is the only thing stopping me from accomplishing my goals. My motto since I started yoga: but what if you COULD?
