  • I created this delicious recipe in partnership with the @NationalPorkBoard. When I need to get dinner on the table in a hurry, pork tenderloin is always one of top choices. It's low in fat, high in protein and a rich source of B vitamins. This SIMPLE ZESTY PORK TENDERLOIN gets a quick sear on the stove and heads to the oven in the same pan. A simple citrus-salsa makes the perfect topping. 🐷🍊 Enjoy it one slice at a time or tuck pieces into a warm tortilla or a slider bun for a healthy and delicious meal. Grab the recipe from the link in my profile @NoblePig or go here: https://noblepig.com/2018/12/simple-zesty-pork-tenderloin/ I created this delicious recipe in partnership with the @nationalporkboard. • October was #NationalPorkMonth, who celebrated? 🐷
I was almost late to the party and@celebrated this past Monday by eating this delicious Jerk Seasoned Pork Tenderloin, 🔗🔝from the @nationalporkboard. 🐷
The National Pork Board has a wealth of information about the health and nutrition of pork. My favorite, Pork tenderloin, for example, is just as lean as skinless chicken breast and meets the government guidelines for “extra lean”. In total, six pork cuts meet the USDA guidelines for “lean,” with less than 10 grams fat, 4.5 grams saturated fat and 95 milligrams of cholesterol per serving. Any cuts from the loin — like pork chops and pork roast — are leaner than skinless chicken thigh, according to USDA data. Pork steaks or roasts from the leg (“fresh ham”) are also lean choices. And don't forget to cook it to the internal temp of 145 degrees for the perfect pork that stays juicy and tender, especially for the leaner cuts - life changing.
