It’s a cold cloudy Sunday. January and February are blah months of the year for me. It’s probably due to the consistently gray sky and dead foliage. I take advantage of those days when we have great sky color, though! This sweet Lumi has yet to be named, but it’s treasure is a lovely piece of Topaz. 🥰
When you’re trying to figure out the direction you want your creations to follow, you usually end up with several prototypes. This is Flint. He was my 2nd or 3rd prototype of my Lumi. He might not have been exactly what I was aiming for, but I still think he’s cute! 🥰
Hunka asked for a red Lumi with purple eyes. He named him hairball first, but then changed it to Flippy 🤣 So Flippy wishes you guys sweet dreams.
P.S. Red is probably my least favorite Lumi color, but I love Hunka so...
This is Tuttle and his abalone specimen. 🥰 The colors for these little Lumi babes come straight from the sky! I import pictures into Procreate and develop a palette based on the colors in the pictures. Most of these guys are winter sky inspired.
Chroma is in my Etsy Shop now! I haven’t been posting much this week because we are on winter break and I wanted to try and knock out a website, WWP story, and finally figuring out what I want my clay Lumi babes to look like. I hope you are enjoying your last few days of 2018! 😘✌️✨
