Who’s growing their own chillies this year? 🌶
Me and my mum spent the afternoon sewing seeds so I’ve put together a little video of the process for chillies.
Make sure you mix the soil with sand (roughly 40% sand)
If you haven’t got a propagator you can easily makeshift something similar like a plastic box with a lid or even put the pots in a plastic bag, and put them on the windowsill.
When seeds are germinating they need to be kept warm and moist 😜
Happy sewing 🌱✨
So what’s the deal with putting oils on your feet?
1. Essential oils act faster and more efficiently. The soles of our feet have much larger pores than the rest of our body.
2. The skin on this area of our bodies is much less sensitive. The lower sensitivity of the skin on your soles means you can often apply essential oils undiluted.
3. Feet soles don’t contain sebaceous glands. Along with the palms of your hands, the soles of your feet are the only part of your body which doesn’t contain sebaceous glands. Sebum essentially acts as a barrier. For this reason, it can act as an impediment to the essential oils which you want to absorb into your body.
4. Feet and reflexology
Every nerve line in the body ends in your feet. Reflexologists believe that areas on the feet correspond to the body’s organs and systems.
5. Spiritual connection to the earth
Our feet are our connection to the Earth, rooting us in the biosphere and encapsulating our energetic links to Mother Earth. ✨Health benefits of essential oils✨

Some days I need ALL the motivation to make it through #singlemomlife plus being a full time student is hard! So on days when I need to buckle down and do the things this little roller is my GoTo! If you feel like you could use a little kick in the pants some times I highly suggest it ✨🌱
If you’re in Minnesota you know that this month of February has been BLEAK! I’ve started buying flowers almost weekly to combat the snow and cold-weather woes. Something about the red and white really pops. I bought these for valentine’s day but I might just buy them for every other day, too. Buy yourself a plant or some flowers today, it helps, I promise! Oh, and yes, those are Reese’s in the shape of hearts. Get those. Those help too.
I have been in cactus heaven looking through pictures since my trip to Palm Springs. I grew up in Colorado and both my grandparents were snowbirds in Arizona. We were extremely close to all of our grandparents and spent a lot of time down there with them. The desert takes me back to those times! They are where I get my love of cacti, turquoise and gardening from. 🌵🏜✌
It’s unfurling season 🤩 come on little guy, you’re almost there! One of my simplest joys is waking up and seeing how my Monstera’s baby leaves are doing.
Also something weird I do: feel the stems, guess which one is “pregnant” and will have the next baby. Does anyone else do this or am I just crazy? 😂
