  • Allie's #1 strategy for building choice into routine? Make the choices small! Asking, "Would you like an apple or banana?" or "Do you want to put your shirt or pants on first?" provides choices without taking too much time. Two is the optimal number of choices for most kids - with more than that, we lose structure and kids become overwhelmed. Minimal choices provide children with a sense of control without bombarding their decision-making skills. #play2progress #choices Allie's #1 strategy for building choice into routine? • 🧡Let’s talk about parenting for a minute. How do you work together with your partner to raise your mini-humans? 🧡
Do you have a conscious approach? Or does it just kind of work? 🧡
I recently met the wonderful @mum_in_the_middle and we had a really interesting chat about co-parenting, and how tricky it can be to work together in a positive way.
That’s whether you are separated or together - the truth of it is that your ability to work together has an inevitable impact on your babies, so worth considering I reckon. 🧡
If it’s something you’d like to hear more about, then come along on to our next event where
@mum_in_the_middle will be speaking about co-parenting. She has experienced it all - the good, the bad, and the ugly. She has a fascinating story to tell and will be doing just that as well as answering your questions on WED 1ST MAY @chichiscoffeeandwaffle from 7pm - 10.30pm.
🧡
Tickets on sale now - they are £12.50 and for that you get a welcome drink, delicious buffet and a great evening out.

  • Thank you @seedlingsgroup for reminding us to live our values! When we are connected to what we truly value we model that for our kids. They may have different values than you, but if they learn from you to find and stay connected to what they value they will have a greater opportunity to bloom in full rather than equate the way they look to their value. What are your values? How are you talking about them with your kids? How are you modeling them to your kids? #bodypositive #parenting #mindfulparenting #fullbloom #fullbloomproject #fullbloompodcast Thank you @seedlingsgroup for reminding us to live our values! • For this weeks #wellnesstips we are answering: Is Sugar From Fruit The Same As Sugar From Candy?

According to NPR, it is NOT the same. Fruits have fructose, glucose and a combination of the two called "sucrose," or "table sugar." But the sugars in fruit are packed less densely than in a candy bar - so there are many kinds of sugar. A can of soda has 40g of sugar, and A serving of fruit, by contrast, usually contains no more than 20 grams of sugar, AND has fiber and has nutrients like vitamin C.

Even for people without diabetes, sugar in fruit is a healthier option than sugar from other sources. Be caferul of juices and smoothies with hiding sugar! We recommend eating fruit in their natural state or making smoothies at home. For this weeks #wellnesstips we are answering: Is Sugar From Fruit The Same As Sugar From Candy?
