  • I am re-creating 'Ovoid with Invaginated Spike' after I cut up the first version for a video last year (#2014ovoids). For this version the spikes will be red and the ovoid surface will be covered with a selection of white fabrics - patchwork style.

The long read: Research for my MFA thesis focussed very much on architectural trends, theory and critique at the time (1990s). Peter Eisenman was a hero (for me), Jacques Derrida a pain in the neck (to read), Gilles Deleuze a must, Frank Gehry did his own thing, Gred Lynn did the exciting stuff and Bernard Cache pulled them back into Euclidean space whenever they got carried away with their rhetoric. Every now and then I read something by Jennifer Bloomer and I always loved reading it. That's how I came across the concept of 'invagination' (for example: 'Vertex and Vortex: A Tectonics of Section' - Perspecta - Vol. 23 (1987), pp. 38-53) - it has stuck with me and I have used it in a number of my works.   • Day 19 of #marchmeetthemaker is dream collaboration. Most of my collaboration these days involves the little guy. So yes! I do exercise. And yes, it take soooo much energy from me so I am dying in the end of the day. But it will give my body the strength I am after in a while.
And yes, I’m fasting! Not only to loose the weight (but this is a goal too - 😬5 kilos)
What I want is a stronger body to carry on! In our webinar I say we have to live with NO sick, NO weak, NO sad & NO dissatisfaction

So my yesterday 1 day fasting was about NO sick 👌

I tried 36 hours fasting yesterday. It was a bit hard to cook and serve 3 courses dinner for the family 😂 apart from that I was fine)))
I feel light and happy today! I do not want to eat a lot today. One tiny slice of HEALTHY banana bread in early morning is still enough for me till noon.
I don’t want any sweet stuff, I do appreciate a simple apple as a treat. I had my 5k run in the morning and I do great!
