This is a question that has been coming up this past week. It’s a bit of a challenging question. Some of us it’s money, for some of us it’s passion. My creative passion cane about when I was in a relationship where I felt completely isolated. Making books and journaling became my outlet. It drew me into a space where I could be surrounded by pretty things and just play. I now offer those works to others. In the end, my work means to me offering others outlets for their inner creative worlds, and giving them something beautiful within which to play. How about you? What does your work mean to you?⠀
I always get so stoked when people ask me to replicate their car out of paper, let alone a badass muscle car like @andyfrisella’s 1970 Chevelle that @emilyfrisella had me make him for Christmas. A lot of people also don’t believe me when I say that this is made entirely from paper but it is. 7 layers measuring at 24”x30” which is the largest car piece I’ve made yet. Hoping to do more pieces like this in the future but this one will be hard to top!
I used the colors charcoal grey, brown, beige and ochre to capture the serious, independent, disciplined tenacious & ambitious traits of a Capricorn. Wanted the colors, design and subtle elements to be symbolic to Capricorn.
Took a few redos to get the final result.
What do you think?

This piece has definitely been one my biggest challenges of the past months! From his size to the components I wanted to put in without knowing how to make many of them... I’ll post the entire piece in few days. Stay tuned... 😉 •
