These are the good ole days ✌🏼
Too often we focus on the past or worry about the future, but if you think about it - the right here, the right now is what it’s all about. Instead of being nostalgic for the past or planning for the future, think about the gift of the present moment. While it’s a simple concept, we oftentimes struggle with this. As type-A personalities, we’re planners and worriers, but those gifts can also take away from the present moment. So take a second or a minute or even a whole day (😱) and be grateful for what is right in front of you.
👉🏼 What do you do to stay conscious of the present moment?
Really thankful for all the beautiful places that I saw, all the great experiences that I made and all the interesting people I met in the Philippines. And I only have been around Palawan 😂
Guess I have to come back some time!
Next country: Vietnam, starting to work again soon. Curious how that will affect my daily life while travelling.
All the planning in the world and I somehow missed the fact that we have to climb up 400(ish) steps to reach this spot. 🙃 By the time we got there, the sparkling water looked so refreshing that I just about dove straight in.... #coron#palawan#philippines#jxaphilippines
