~~~ Bonnie and Clyde (May 23, 1934) ~~~ Bonnie and Clyde were an unmarried couple of criminals from Texas who operated in the Central US States. Widely known for about a dozen armed bank robberies, but actually they mostly dealt with plundering smaller shops and gas stations. Clyde Barrow as a teenager was in prison for minor offense. However, according to his family, when got out, he became a completely different person due to conditions inside and the problems with other prisoners. Clyde and Bonnie met in the early 1930s. Historians believe that she joined him because of love and remained a faithful companion until the death. In a series of robberies, burglaries and kidnapping for the next four years, the two of them, along with the other seven gang members, killed nine police officers and several civilians.
Eventualy, the group of Texas Rangers, who had been tracking their movement for a long time, made an ambush on this day, May 23, 1934, on a local road in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, USA 🇺🇸. Bonnie and Clyde were killed with more than a hundred bullets in their bodies. Among the public, they still have a mixed reputation of dangerous outlaws and same time romantic “Robin Hood” folk heroes couple.
A long time forgotten are dreams that just fell by the way
The good life he promised ain't what she's living today
But she never complains of the bad times or bad things he's done, Lord
She just talks about the good times they've had and all the good times to come
She's a good-hearted woman in love with a good-timin' man
She loves him in spite of his ways that she don't understand.
