The journey and the way towards the dreams may seem overwhelming... vi har alle været der i en eller anden omfang. Lege med drømmen om noget vi godt kunne tænke os at opnå. Men vejen dertil føles så uoverskuelig fordi vi fokusere på ende målet og ikke på de små skridt der skal tages for at stille bevæge os derhen. Hvem skal vi VÆRE for at lykkes. Hvilke VANER skal jeg indføre og hvorfor er det VIGTIGT?
Ovenpå en fantastisk og meget udviklende og indsigtsfuld tur til USA bruger jeg nu min lørdag på at konsumere, reflektere og implementere nye redskaber og drømme.
En vigtig reminder for mig som High performer er fokus på glæde.! Glæde kommer før alt og rejsen i livet - og med mine ambitioner, er glæden for at være på vej, i udvikling og læring langt større end det der kommer i sidste ende❤️

⏱How To KNOW If You Are Running Out of Time⏱
. An entrepreneur I met with a while back told me he felt like he was RUNNING OUT OF TIME in growing his coaching business… ⏱ He’s ambitious, talented, impatient as hell, and wants to make a difference…(sound familiar? - *** invites you to look in the mirror ***) ⏱ I know this feeling well…
It’s a heavy feeling that primarily comes from us comparing our chapter 1 with someone else’s chapter 20… ⏱ So I want to share with you a simple exercise I did with him to find out if, in fact, you ARE running out of time… ⏱ All you have to do is ask yourself this question… ⏱ “HOW LONG DO I PLAN ON DOING ‘THIS THING’?” ⏱ Because the TRUTH is you MIGHT be running out of time... ⏱ If you are taking an exam and there are 3 minutes left until “pencils down”, you ARE running out of time… ⏱ If you get lost in a convo with a friend and your two-hour parking meter is about to expire, you ARE running out of time… ⏱ If your milk jug’s “best used by” date was 4 days ago, you are DEFINITELY running out of time!
⏱ BUT if you are building something that matters… ⏱ If you are creating something that is BIGGER than any single outcome…
⏱ If you are committing the next 1, 5, 10, 20 years or more to SOME form of whatever it is you are doing now…
Then TIME is ALL you have…
Because the more messy and imperfect ACTION you are taking, the more time you GET... ⏱ The more you USE time (creatively, intentionally) instead of being USED by it (worry, anxiety, procrastination), the more time you are REWARDED with… ⏱ When you are in THAT space of purposeful, consistent action (***FLOW***), you shift from LINEAR TIME to a feeling of TIMELESSNESS…
SO…How long do YOU plan on doing whatever it is you are doing now? ⏱ If it’s only for the next day, week or month, then you might be running out of time. ⏱ But if your answer is, “I don’t see a time when I WON’T be doing SOMETHING like this!”…
Then, put your head down and get back to work (play)! ⏱ TIME is like oxygen and, as long as you are USING your “lungs” (and not holding your breath), you’ve got access to all that you could possibly need!
Just like these train tracks, life doesn’t stop, does it?! It goes, and goes,...and goes. It’s up to us to pause and create little breaks! Not just big ones, like vacations.Mainly little ones, throughout our days. That’s how we stay happy and relaxed. We can’t just live for weekends, or vacations. We use these little breaks to make everything else go smoothly. If we pay attention, we realize that our bodies more often than not are tense. Our facial expressions, tense, sad (?), stressed - look at people when they’re driving alone. It’s not good. Like 80% don’t look happy!! We need to change that. Be kind on the road. Really, we feel like we don’t have time so we need to go first at an intersection, but if we let somebody else go ahead of us, it makes them smile. And it only takes seconds longer. Then they might pass that smile on. Sounds hippy, but it works. Stop and feel the ground under your feet for a few seconds. Prioritize, pause, adjust, and reset your priorities. Set yourself a timer and put your phone down. Thoughts can come and go and find a new place in our inner chaos. And, if we do this often enough that chaos will settle.
