I got to see these two beauties yesterday, so it reminded me of a shoot I did with them last year, which includes photos I’ve never shared before! —————
I think a signature editing style is important. It lets people recognize your work. Mine had been described as natural and pretty, colorful and moody. I’m drawn to contrast and vibrant colors, but with muted greens and warmer skin tones. I’ve been playing it safe for awhile, but want to expand my skills.
I’m always evolving as an artist, but try not to get caught up in the trends. I went back to an older photo from last year because I’ve always loved this picture, but I had some lighting challenges which meant a ton of grain in the photo. I smoothed and faded it out a bit, but added some sharpness at the end, among other edits. Try, delete, try again, erase, try again....
I’ll probably look back at this in a year and change it again as my skills evolve. Either way, I’m grateful for clients who let me experiment and give me honest feedback! Who wants to play next? 💛

There seems to be an over saturation of micro/boutique brands today. Maybe I’m wrong (this is just my opinion). I guess that’s the great thing about variety. It offers something for everyone. @moduco_watches For Macro Monday and I guess now Moduco Monday. Have a great start to the week everyone!
