Over cracked lip of stone and scree, the cerro draws open a mournful eye. As glacial tears slide through the opal surface, others approach over the ridge, spreading to find solitary perches on the rocky slope. There they start their silent watch, staring into the opaque depths, searching for answers only they have the questions to.

Fernweh!

Maybe it’s the lack of oxygen at that altitude that got me believing I could fly or something! Take a deep breath, close your eyes and go! 😅😆Talking about living life on the edge for real ...looks like I’m ready to dive in no ‘chute! Ahah

Agust 2010, 9 years ago experience climbing Mount Leuser. which is the second longest mountain after the mount cartenz.
This mountain range has three famous peaks with its highest peak is the Nameless Peak 3455m above sea level, Puncak Loser 3404m above sea level, and the peak of Leuser 3143m above sea level. There is still one more peak, the peak of Karang Putih or the locals call it Pucuk Aceh.
mountains that are rarely climbed by people because they have long paths and are quite challenging paths. if asked, how to climb the leuser mountain? and what got there? not afraid? how come it can be strong? what do you eat there. ? how come you want to climb the mountain? and many more questions. for me this is an amazing experience that I have ever had, because climbing this mountain spends 14 days reaching the peak. we have to pass a total of 23 camp, 3 of which are included in the climbed peak.
14 days a long way home. without signal and without bathing, and carrying loads more than 30 kg. and always survive to be able to go home safely and safely. this picture was taking while going summit mount leuser.
the challange of climbing this mountain not only about the hight altitude, extreme wind, extreme weather,, but also we have carry our own luggage about 30 kg that we separate it on the backpack.
thank you leuser for your 14 days of experience to be grateful, teach to never give up and appreciate life.😇 live only once, and live happily whatever you choose and full of experience.😎
