  • Our girl @jennanne with 10 weeks to go till the @wbff_official stage!
.
👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼10.5 WEEKS OUT 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼
.
Giving you guys a bit of a progress update with where I’m at as I prep for the @wbff_official stage in LA. I’ve been working hard for about 6 weeks now since I committed to my goal of competing in April on an international stage 👙👑
.
It’s no secret I struggled post show with settling back into normalcy, as a result I have a lot more work to do than before, my starting point for this prep is up 4kgs from my last prep. It’s not all bad news because I’ve definitely acquired some muscle since my last show 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
.
⏩TRAINING: 5 day split right now working 3 lower and 2 upper body days. I am throwing in a shoulder circuit 2 days a week for hypertrophy, working on hitting my shoulders with the right frequency. ⏩CARDIO: I’m doing more cardio now than I was last time, I didn’t even count steps till 8 weeks out last time let alone sweat on a treadmill 😂 now I’m doing 10-12k steps a day and 1 x HIIT session at f45, this will increase as time goes by, I’ll start adding in more interval sessions or LISS sessions. I’m actually enjoying feeling fitter. ⏩FOOD: I cycle between high and low carb days for training and rest days, I’ve managed to build up my bodies tolerance to carbs which has been super enjoyable for me and it means this prep I get to enjoy more variety in my meals 🥰 I’m choosing to eat from a wider variety of foods too and trying to incorporate more plant based meals so I can load up on micronutrients 🌱 🌸RECOVERY: the forgotten variable 😂 this is just as important as everything else!! I’m trying to get 8 hours sleep a night, I’m having Epsom salt baths at least 2 x a week and I’m foam rolling and stretching EVERYDAY 😮 surprise. I’ve surprised myself 😂 next stop: yoga. I’m yet to get there though. Recovery is hard for me, I don’t prioritise it and I don’t do well “relaxing”, but I’m trying my best.

Current weight: 67kgs
Current body fat: don’t know, haven’t been pinched since my show.
Goal weight: 61kgs
Goal maintenance weight: 64kgs
