I’m a night owl, and working out at night helped me stay consistent 🥰. Except, I began to notice that the occasional times I made the time for ME before a day full of meetings & teaching 2nd grade, I felt stronger and more confident. I was also able to come home after work and enjoy time with my family, knowing my workout was done and I didn’t feel a need to rush through the bedtime routine with my kids. I really love doing lifting and bodyweight exercises after getting the kids to bed.
This week I decided to change up my routine and shock my system with a new workout time and now I’m back on track!
I usually do not go to the gym in the morning, but I admire people who do so. Today I decided to try exercising in the morning as well and I was surprised how many people were at the gym at 7 am.
Still, if I exercise in the morning then the workouts are easier than my evening workouts. My body is not ready in the morning. I guess it takes some time to get used to it.
