  • One of my favorite ways to stay healthy is to juice. Fresh vegetable juice is really the optimal way to juice.

Fresh pressed vegetable juices are all the rage these days. Although I love juicing, please remember that there isn’t one magic bullet to achieve optimal health. It is the addition of many good habits over time that will help you lead a life free of disease and ailments!⠀

For juicing, I love using my @omegajuicing juicer! ⠀
⠀
So why juicing over a smoothie? The power of vegetable juice lies in its ability to deliver powerful nutrients to your cells immediately, as in ASAP. No digestion required. In our busy, instant gratification world, you can really appreciate feeling the effects of something healthy immediately! Many people also have compromised digestive systems and they don't always absorb the nutrients in a smoothie. Plus most people's smoothies tend to be loaded with too much fruit, yogurt and dairy products.⠀

However, vegetable juice is not a meal replacement. So you would feel hungry about an hour after drinking the delicious concoction. For a meal on-the-go, I recommend the clean and delicious Lean protein shake I use. ⠀

When you consistently drink fresh raw vegetable juice, along with eating lots of vegetables and fruit as part of a healthy diet, your whole internal environment changes. Progress takes time! 
In the last year I’ve had to give up a lot to continue my #breastfeedingjourney through #foodallergies. I’ve recently started to really commit to working out and taking care of the outside too! 
1. Having kids is fricken hard work and your body is not meant to “bounce back” — it took 9 months to get where you started so give yourself some grace and TIME to reverse it. 
2. It’s a journey. Ups. Downs. Success. Failure. 
3. It’s YOUR journey. Don’t compare your #postpartum journey to anyone else’s. Your body isn’t the same as anyone else’s! Do what works for YOU && enjoy the ride. 
4. Give the ✌🏼🖕🏼 to anyone who is unsupportive or negative toward you. That shit is the biggest killer of motivation and success! Repeat after me. Progress takes time! The @trxtraining Home2 System has been a blessing because I can STILL get an effective workout done in a short amount of time with a single piece of equipment. It’s even been great for doing a few exercises here and there when I can’t find the time for a full workout

Here are a few upper body exercises that help strengthen my back and chest (necessary when carrying a #teamnosleep baby). I’ll show you how easy the system is to set up in my stories!

I’ve been looking forward to this night for the last several months- our first community/educational event at my store here in Austin.

When I first walked into this space I knew I wanted it to be a place of community based events. To create a safe place for people to come and meet new people. That’s always been my heart since I was young child.

Tonight I’ll be sharing the basics of CBD and I can’t wait. So grateful for this journey. But especially grateful for the people that have stood by my side through the roller coaster of what this season has been.

Oh man... the friendships I have made in such a short period of time here in Austin have become family to me😭❤️.

Embracing this beautiful moment and seeing how far I’ve come. It’s amazing how many things can happen to ultimately  align and set you up for exactly where you’re supposed to be.

This is just a little reminder for you that even when you feel like you’re not being set up or prepared for something in the future. Right now- in this very moment you are being prepared.
