Today is a little different because I wasn't at home for half the day, so I prepped my breakfast the day before.
I couldn't refuse the pizza🍕 because we were out and it'd look weird. I also realllyyy didn't want to eat that sandwich🥪 for lunch (I wanted to have porridge🥣 again). I knew it wouldn't fill me up and the calories! I had to stop myself from eating more because that's all there was. It didn't help that my aunt kept telling me to eat more and I had to keep refusing.
I'm always anxious😖 about eating out and eating at other people's houses because I like control and knowing exactly what I'm eating and how it's been cooked, but then, you don't want to be weird and awkward and refuse the food. I don't want to eat in a calorie surplus🙅♀️ and I'd like to stay wayyy in a deficit please🙇♀️. Tags:
Roasted chicken noodle soup, potato crusted salmon on a bed of creamed spinach with asparagus, and for dessert s’mores baked Alaska. All for our student meal today at @stoutshl / School of Hospitality Leadership. It was fantastic and that means just veggies for dinner for this wonderful meal. Absolutely loving overnight oats recently, it’s been a staple breakfast for the last month or so because it’s so easy to make and so tasty! Thinking about potentially alternating with a quorn sausage roll (sandwich thin) but it’s not as exciting
Lunch was a recipe I found on BBC good food that I’ve been dying to make for the past couple of weeks! Highly lives up to expectations but does need the extra padding of salad and sausage
Dinner was the salad version of a wrap I tried on holiday. It’s amazing and definitely something I will be making again in the future. However having the combination of this lunch and dinner has meant my fat % today was quite high 😑
Snacks were skyr Icelandic yogurt pot and a banana, skinny whip bar, quark with berries and a bounty protein flapjack 🤤
I also had a tonne of breadsticks cause it was wicked Wednesday and the box was right next to me when writing job applications.. mistakes were made and lessons were learnt 😢
Kcal 1798 C42% F31% P27% - would have liked my fat and protein to be the other way around. Struggling to find protein snacks that don’t influence my fat intake greatly so suggestions are welcome ❤️
Well my evening didn’t quite go to plan! Was supposed to be taking my oldest daughter to Bootcamp, but my son came home with suspected concussion. He kept wanting to sleep and his speech was slow and slurred. I called 1-1-1 just for some advice, and they arranged for the paramedics to come over. The paramedics were great, really funny! They wanted to have him given the once over at hospital just to be safe, so me and Connor got to ride in the ambulance. Hospital staff were great and we were sorted quite quickly.
