Dinner tonight was delicious!!! It’s one of my favorites!!! It’s a spin on a chicken, garlic, and tomato dish by @thepioneerwoman We add a ton more garlic, and green beans... We usually eat it with just brown rice, but tonight we tried black forbidden rice... It was ok, but kind of took away from my garlic flavor... 🤣 #pioneerwoman #chicken #whatsfordinner #dindin #garlic #tomato #forbiddenrice #thighs #chickenthighs #darkmeatisbetter #boneinskinon #flavor #february #wednesday #meal #dindin

I was so excited when I saw that @carrefouruae actually sells freshly made egg Noodles 🍝
I don’t know about everyone else but as for me it was the most annoying thing when I used to buy the dried ones then had to fit them inside the pan and most of them would break during cooking!
Love the texture and the taste, for sure it’s different when it’s freshly made! My family always enjoys chicken with veggies Chinese noodles. To make this you’ll need:
➡️3 packs of freshly made egg noodles
➡️3 garlic cloves
➡️1cm cube of ginger
➡️4 chicken breasts sliced in strips
➡️Combo of veggies of your choice
➡️1 cup of soya sauce
➡️1/2 cup of oyster sauce
➡️2 Tbsp sesame oil
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
🔸Crush the garlic and the ginger to form a paste.
🔸In a pan add the sesame oil then add your paste and stir for a few seconds.
🔸Add the chicken and season with salt.
🔸Add your veggies and let them sweat but not a lot because they will all continue cooking with the noodles.
🔸Add soya and oyster sauce.
🔸When it starts to boil place in your noodles, give it a quick stir and cover.
🔸 It takes about 4-7 minutes for the noodles to fully cook, if you feel they got dry or need more liquid you can add water or stock if you like.
🔸 When fully cooked, place it in a serving dish, the reason I do this because if it’s left in the pan with the lid on even if it’s taken off heat they will continue to cook then you will end up with a blob of rubber 🤮.
🔸Would’ve been great to add some toasted sesames on top but I ran out.
What’s your favorite noodle dish? I’m thinking to do a seafood one next 🐠 🐟 🎣
