A Complex Circuit is any series of movements performed back-to-back with a barbell where the set number of reps are completed for each movement before moving on to the next exercise. What makes Complex workouts so intense is the bar never leaves your hands until all reps are completed
.
Choose the appropriate weight to perform 10 reps of each exercise
.
No rest between exercises and approx 90 seconds to 3 minutes rest between sets. As you get fitter doing these workouts, reduce time between sets. Total of 5 sets
.
Today's exercise selection included:
- Hanging clean
- Overhead shoulder press
- Squats
- Bent over row
- Push ups on bar

While this session only takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete, is much harder than it sounds. After this I did a fatigue set on Incline Bench and then Shoulder Bomb. Officially wrecked me! In terms of weight of dumbbell and how many reps and sets you should do, it all depends of your level of fitness. Below is a generic training guide so feel free to use it as appropriate and increase/ decrease weight of ball and number of reps and sets accordingly.

Training guide: using 8️⃣ kg dumbbells- perform 20 repetitions of each exercise (10x on Left and Right sides where appropriate) with ☝️minute rest between exercises with the whole workout performed 🤚times round.
