Now, whilst this has protein I more class this as nutrition on the go; reason being is that there’s a specific type of protein or amino acid in proteins that you need for muscle building - that is leucine amino. Almonds are low in leucines (especially in this serving) but are high in fats and very rich in nutrients. Also remember proteins are needed for your other cells in your body eg your brain. So whilst the protein in almonds might not be super dooper beneficial for your muscles. Its really fantastic for the rest of your body and will allow you to fulfil your daily macro/micro intake. If your training hard, especially if your doing a lot of cardiovascular training it is really important to focus on your micro nutrients. This will make a big difference to how you feel the next day and the next week. If you find yourself constantly getting tired at low levels of exercise take a look at your daily micro intake and don’t forget if symptoms persist go and see your doctor.
