I’ve found myself being quite stressed lately. Being a full-time uni student, working for multiple publications, and having to keep up with mental and physical health can all become too much sometimes. I try to channel the stress into positive activities when I feel like I have enough time to do so. I’ll draw for a little, listen to a podcast, do yoga, stretch, journal (not all at once), but I do have a plethora of things to choose from. Sometimes though, I’ll just continue to live in my stress, which isn’t the best for a healthy mindset — but it’s certainly best to admit that sometimes things are difficult, and not everyone has the time or motivation to relax. We should all find time to relax though, it’s one of the most important things to do, in order to feel safe in ourselves. If you are feeling a little stressed out, (and if you can), drop what you are doing and take a breath — remind yourself that it won’t always feel like this, and let your mind wander for a few minutes. Make sure you focus on yourself when you’re stressed; life becomes a lot more difficult when you push it to the side...🌤
