This image from an advertisement is a great example of how pop art became a huge movement. The colours here which look almost painted in watercolour due to their faded print transform a photographic image into that of a graphic novel style. The unsymmetrical face looks surreal in purple and pink hues.

This image reflects how the news of today exhibits only shreds of the truth. We hear phrases such as ‘fake news’ thrown around often, however this term alone puts the truth into question and creates hostility towards sources that were once trusted as reliable. How can we recognise what is real and what is fake anymore?

Layered and fragmented love. This collage echoes the images of a broken tv stuck between two channels- in both cases they show the same thing however with contrasting colours such as pink and green. There is unity within these images which are forced together in slices, love is love and there is no difference between us.

This image of Coca Rocha falling in 2014 emulates beauty within public humiliation. This moment was captured before she even hit the floor and forever immortalised through the powerful, endless entity that is the internet. Somehow in this slip from grace, Coco Rocha’s form echos the painting Ophelia by British artist Sir John Everett Millais. Her fragile pale limbs are almost lifeless and her face exhibits that of ecstasy. #art #photgraphy #fashion #contemporaryart Thank you @lisamcconniffe This image of Coca Rocha falling in 2014 emulates beauty within public humiliation.
