Healthier take on one of my favorite dishes
1 lb of lean ground turkey
1 pound of lean grass-fed beef
2 medium onions, thoroughly mix in a food processor then Brown ingredients with 2 tbsp of coconut oil. THEN
ADD fresh herbs and spices to your taste, I added dried basil, fresh garlic and garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, Himalayan sea salt, Rosemary, Thyme, and turmeric. After Browning add 2 cups of water and cook until all water has been cooked out. Add one small can of Goya tomato sauce about 6 oz.
In a food processor blend two bags of broccoli and one bag of frozen spinach, squeeze and drain all liquid. Add to your meat mixture and cook thoroughly.
Layer with low fat cottage cheese, i used no boil lasagna noodles and the final top layer...top with low fat taco blend shredded cheese
Bake at 360 deg for 45 min
