My last post was about the state of our nails and everyone was saying "Obis, my own is flauntable". Okay ooo..... Come closer. What of your your Christmas hair? It's still on your head abi. You wear it to cook, then go out. You never rock am finish?
You see, I teach you to be stylish. But you can't be rocking yummy mummy looks and be neglecting your kids. Mbanu! You have failed it there.
I'm just seeing some Mothers now, because of Obis they are looking peng. But their sons have hair looking so unkempt. Hair be looking like rice or stash of weevils. Thier daughters are carrying hair long over do for a new style. Please take care of your looks and try to extend it to your kids as well.
And if you happen to be very busy as well, by all means do home service. But be there to monitor it. My hubby and son do home service. I just thought to remind us, to spread the Peng-ness to ours kids too. Use this weekend and turn a new leaf.
Did i shake a table? No ooo. But if you are on this table, come down from it.
This is the view from our campsite. Hippos are entertaining. The crocodiles were on the prowl - we thought for sure a baboon would be lunch when a few got very close to the water's edge. I wish we didn't have to leave this place tomorrow. #maraedencamp#kenya#2019
Kenyan Samburu girl ~ One of the most popular portraits you'll find in homes across the globe.
Samburu is one of the 42 Kenyan tribes, inhabiting the Northern part of Kenya. The girls are one of the most marginalized, and suffer the plight of early marriages from old traditions. Alot of locals and NGO's across the country work hard to empower the girl child through education.
Once upon a page in the East African Standard. This was at the height of the #maumau Emergency. I have never heard of a Mau Mau fighter called “Oneko”. And the one appearing here is certainly not Achieng Oneko, he of the Kapenguria Six fame. #kenya#kenyahistory#kenyanhistory#nyeri#giakanja
